Atropos Health combines rapid cohort creation with automated, state of the art data science.

Our technology converts medical data to an in-memory database that stores patient timeline objects.

These patient timeline objects make 50x faster and 30x cheaper temporal queries using our custom-developed, domain specific temporal query language, TQL.

Query outputs feed our automated analytics pipeline to build user-ready reports and key artifacts in seconds, via templated observational study designs and advanced statistical methods.

Temporal query language (TQL) enables rapid search of large medical datasets for particular patient features in a specific sequence and/or timeframe. Queries in TQL take less time to generate, run, and are significantly shorter than analogous queries written in SQL. These efficiencies are key components of Atropos’ rapid real-world evidence generation.

Select features of TQL that enable rapid cohorting:

It utilizes knowledge graphs so medical concepts can be queried, rather than requiring specific knowledge of each medical dataset. This also means that the same queries can be run across multiple datasets simultaneously, so long as they are structured similarly.

Commands are designed and leveraged by Atropos clinicians. They mimic the way physicians think. This makes it easy to translate questions in conversational format into commands.
